Rob at 49

In touch with his feminine side πŸ˜‚

Nate sent me this:
"When did Rob get those sweet tatts?"

Hiking Suncrest with Clint (not pictured, haha)
...get a room

The mailman thinks we're old...

For Rob's birthday, we all went out to dinner—his choice of course. This is the restaurant he picked...

And guess what? We had the place to ourselves, haha

Then Culver's for concretes

Our kids don't ever sit still

"Say say, oh playmate..." tournament

Hi Handsome

SUch a cute pic of Rob

...and my dinner plates πŸ˜‚

I could write 49 things I love about Rob, but you'd probably get nauseous...

I'll name 4 + 9:
1. I haven't had other lovers, but I'm convinced he's the best
2. Wants to actually be perfect
3. He's almost there
4. Gives me a backrub when he's stressed out
1. Works too hard
2. Will do anything for his kids
3. Reads the Sunday School lesson before church
4. Makes breakfast, lunch, and dinner to order every Saturday
5. Early to bed, early to rise (perfect😜)
6. Bakes cookies every month for his home teaching families
7. Wishes he could be a mom so he could hang out with the kids all day (in theory not in practice, amiright?)
8. Loves to do all the grocery shopping πŸ™
9. Plus he's foxy πŸ‘Œ

Easter, 2017

When I think about the fact that we will have our Elle again one day soon because of Jesus Christ, I "stand all amazed." Gratitude is not a big enough word or idea to express how I feel.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

They really do love us and want us to be happy

I remembered (!πŸŽ‰) to post up our cards of Carl Bloch paintings of Christ on the fridge (where we all will see them most πŸ˜‰) and post the daily events of the last week of Christ's life

One of these things is not like the others...

Rob and Cy bolted back from a tournament
in Vegas for Easter morning

String maze to find baskets

And guess who's back and roaming the premises?!

Check out his locks πŸ’
Getty's been at a residential treatment center for the last few months but earned time at home for Easter weekend. He barely ever leaves the facility, so I asked him, "Where should we go? Do you want to go out to dinner? a movie? the park?" Getty sits in a big chair in the living room looking around, "I just want to be home with the family."

Mia's basket
Popsockets for everyone πŸ‘Œ

Cy and his gimp leg from the tournament

Getty's friends heard he was home for the day and ditched church for a few minutes to see him πŸ’žπŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡

Easter dresses

We're all like the same height now, haha πŸ‘«πŸ‘«πŸ‘«

Typical Mia... and MK

Bunny impersonators

Our top three πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—
MK is the glue πŸ‘Š, Getty's the adrenaline πŸ’¨, and Mia is the fireπŸ’₯. Adrenaline and fire are not the easiest substances to contain, but they have taught me unforgettable life lessons, and I love that I get to be in their lives for the long haul.

Afghanian Eats

A typical lunch for Mahdi... all of this...
Mahdi's date burgerπŸ‘†, along
with his favorite cucumbers

Reza's eggplant and tomato dish😝 and
his date paste (to put in smoothies)πŸ‘‡

From what I've seen from these two, the Afghanian food staples are: Plain yogurt, rice, and lavash bread

Mahdi and Reza use plain yogurt in drinks
(as in Mahdi's favorite salty cucumber yogurt
drink "Doogh"), as a dip, as a dressing,
as a sedative, and as food.
