Christmas Faves

Camcorder for Getty. I know. Rob's idea. Getty is in heaven. Thanks, Uncle Mark, for the rockin' deal!

Zhu Zhu hampsters. (Again, Mark's the hero.)

Beatles Rock Band. Zero musical talent. Plug your ears.

Mia's futon. Number one on her wish list with new bedding to match. She likey.

Madden 10 for Cy. Enough said.

MK's new phone. Beats the tar out of her duct-taped, beat-up red one.

In keeping with tradition, Rob returned both gifts I bought him, and I thanked him for the many gifts I gave myself over the past few months while shopping for "the kids."

Christmas Dinner at Granny's

Granny passing out gifts. She's the one underneath all the grandkids.

Surprise! Uncle Scotty's back!

Scotty and the Vietti's.

Take a good look, 'cause you'll never see MK all in PINK again. Still makes me laugh. It's against nature....

Over the River and Through the Woods...

A Christmas visit to Great-grandpa Rawlin's home. Soda tagged along (far left).

Elle and Cam got rides on the Pacesaver M94 Titan (—er something like that...) electric wheelchair.
Don't you just love the vintage avocado carpet? Classic grandfather digs.

Whoa. Thanks, Grandpa!

Great-grandpa's MEGA magnifying glass for reading the daily mail. Old age has its perks.

Rawlin and grandson Rawlin. Love to the man who begot my man.

Christmas Day

Just three gifts each. Gold, frankincense, and myrrh, right?

LOVE getting the mail in December.

Watching "Luke II" at Grandma's. Clint and Mia pretend there's an ottoman(?).

After a big breakfast, Mrs. Claus (aka Grandma) organizes everyone's pile of gifts in the rec room, and Cam dances in anticipation. On her signal, wrapping flies and shrieking and hugs begin.

This giant gift bag is filled with wrapped gifts for Elle. Grandma went overboard again. Sigh.

Elle plays something peaceful as we gaze at the twinkling Christmas lights. Ya, right.

Christmas Eve (better late than never)

Our traditional family talent show on Christmas Eve.

BYU's Number 32

Can you say PITTA!? Dat's right.

The boys had run into Dennis Pitta visiting at church recently and had stalked him ever since. Luckily for Pitta, he was never home, so they had not caught up to him over the holidays. The night before he was to leave, Pitta's called and invited the boys up. He signed Getty's hat and Cy's "Cougar Illustrated," featuring him in an action play on the cover. Pitta's dad said with a smirk, "He dropped that pass, you know..."
"Thanks for bringing that up, Dad."
