Senior Night at the Soccer Field

The team's 12 Seniors were honored before kick-off of their last regular-season game.

More favorite pics from the season...
Yep, just taking care of business.

Inappropriate touching?
And again with the inappropriate touching. Ouch.

The girl MK's "hugging" is on the national team. She scored twice within the first 13 minutes of L.P.'s game against Riverton, and we thought we were sunk for sure. By half it was tied, and by the end we were up 3-2. Definitely the most exciting game of the season. We go into the State tournament 1st in our region.

I love MK and Maris' attack!!!! faces :)
Ballet ... and lift

... and first position

The goalie's in red on the ground. Uh-oh.

Kenzie and Kim do their pre-game and half-time handshake (high-five, low-five, back-hand slap, shoulder clap, arm slide, fivers) ritual for good luck. Kenzie's and Kaitlyn's is more of a bro grip, one-hand bro hug back thump, two-hand bro hug thump, around, hip bump. You know, like that.  :)

Kenzie and Kaitlyn in their warm-ups.

So, back to Senior Night. Alyssa's dad brought his awesome sound system to play some music pre- and post-game to help the team get their groove on. And, wow, they really did, to the tune of 6-0. Maris' parents brought a trailer full of food to feed us all on the sidelines, and even Grandpa brought donuts for the team after the game to celebrate their win on Senior Night.

Aunt Megan tellin' Kenzie what's what. Friends, brothers and sisters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins all came out to support MK during the season.

On to the play-offs!

The Monster Mash

Stage two of eight to complete the ultimate monsters to display in the school library during the month of Halloween.
Cousin Ireland made her awesome orange toothy beaver monster too cool for school.

October Spooks

The todds begged me to put up our Halloween decorations the last week of September—they love to scare themselves silly. But when they laid their eyes on those creepers for the first time in a year, I noticed early indications of a wig out. I reminded them those spooks are just part of the family. Reintroductions were in order.
This here is Witchy Poo.

Like our kids need encouragement to visit the pantry. ha!

This is Lisa...
And this is Moan-a.

Mummy and Boo
This was Getty's Valentine's box last year. And the spidey, he's Beetlejuice.
I added cobwebs and these two added Lego's to the ensemble.

And this is Maxi, as in maxillofacial craniotomy, aka Uncle Craig's doll head.
Happy Haunting!

Cousin Izzie and Elle, aka the Tooth Fairy and the Wicked Spider Queen

So, these two begged (well, not actually begged, just asked me sweetly) to dress up in M&M's old flower girl dresses, and since I'm a sucker for princesses, I let them jump in style.

Wish we could have our princess parties every Sunday!
Miss Maisie, love you.
Jack must've been gaming with the boys—love you, too!
