MK is missing but was at a missionary discussion for her good friend Ovett, who wants to join the church. Good call, MK.

Hackings hosted a BBQ, then Cam and I rode bikes and met the rest of the family at Elle's graveside.

While I was on a walk, I heard a little girl crying for her mom, who wasn't around for a moment. She let me sit down with her and hold her until her mom got back. It's hard to explain how sweet that experience was for me. It filled such a hole in my heart that aches to mother a little girl in Elle's absence. When her mom returned, she picked her up and hugged her, and the little girl put her head on her mom's shoulder, so happy to see her again. I continued down the road, tears streaming down my face. There's nothing like a mother's love, and nothing like a child's love for their mother.

Getty's Summer Preview

Getty posted a video of the night captured by a drone with a camera. This was a screen cap of him (below) doing a flip into the hot tub... and later pole dancing (clean version—if that's possible, ha)

He exceeded his funding goal and ordered two bike racks to install in our neighborhood park. 

Bonus: Getty said he'd have this Eagle project completed before his 17th birthday (July 16th), or he'd go to Young Men's every week with no complaints for a YEAR. Best part is if he does complete it before his birthday, we made no counter promise. #nothingtolose #caughthiminaweakmoment #adeal'sadeal :):):)

Lots of make-up, high heels, hairspray, spray-on tans, sequins, and glam... the Miss Utah pageant!

But Mia was also rooting for her friend Lauren Wilson, Miss North Utah County...

...who is now Miss Utah, 2016!

So awesome! Weird how we got so vicariously nervous waiting for the big announcement. Mia was literally shaking and then the tears started streaming down her face when the confetti descended (I think she was imagining... you know... hahaha)
