We can't thank you enough for your faith, fasting, prayers and support for Elle and our family and for Mel and his. We will try to give you a status on Facebook every morning. We had an uneventful night, which is good. Elle is still critically ill and is on ECHMO (heart/lung machine), but is responding to treatments and is trending in the right direction. We are hoping she'll be off ECHMO in a week or so and that would be a major milestone. The doctors will take her off sedation briefly today to check her physical responsiveness. They are not reducing the sedation to the point that she would do anything more than just move around. Progress will be slow for a few days if all goes well, so if we have nothing to report, that is a good thing. We have reason to be hopeful, so we are. Elle won't let us post any pictures until she can get prettied up :) We love you!

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and little Elle. She is such a doll, I love seeing the pics M&M are posting on fB. You have always described her best as "personality plus".
Hang in there, and when you are tired of hanging in there...know how many friends and family are praying for you.

Lorenne, I'm so sorry to hear about little Elle, I don't know what to say except that you and your family our in my thoughts and prayers. I pray you will be blessed with the comfort and strength you need to get through this difficult time. Again, so very sorry!
