Hiking the Y! Wut wut...

FHE activity with Aunt Megan, Ireland, and Granny.

People who wussed out:
Aunt Brit
Uncle Craig
Emma
Avery
Grandpa Doug
Uncle Scott
Ethan
Ryan
Caleb
"I'm too weak.... Oh, how my knees ache.... I need water.... Somebody save me...." WEAK.
(Okay, so maybe they had "legitimate" reasons for WUSSING out. Vietti's, you are excused since you do live out of state.)

Rob and I started breathing heavy (not that way) after the first switchback (there are ELEVEN).

Granny ran the whole way!

Megan offered to relieve Rob by strapping Elle to her back the last half of the climb.
She needed a challenge.

Guess what lovely creature we found at the top?

Cam hiked almost the entire way to the top of the Y. What the stud. MK carried him on her back a couple of times. She's super diggity.

Just wanted to wig you out again.

...what's that crawling on your computer desk?....

AH! And you succeeded in wigging me out...twice! Tell me that is NOT a tarantula? And what is the white thing under it's belly?

NASTY. (wiggle, wiggle, brush the arms off, freak out and jump over a hair brushing my ear...!)

FOR the record, Craig had a playoff game, to which we went, but shouldn't have. We SHOULD have gone hiking instead. Maybe THEN, he wouldn't have a HUGE goose egg on his forehead!

Glad y'all had fun!

Nice spider. We definitely didn't see THAT when we were there a couple of week earlier...

Looks like a ton of fun - only you grabbed the wrong map - I'm sure you meant to hike to the "U"! haha

And thank you for the pardon - we'd love to see you!

That looks like a lot of fun! Except for the spider of course-yuck! How long of a hike is it?
