DISNEY and how the other half lives

Cam's first Disneyland trip! And we got to go with his best friend cousins and my best friend/sister Megan 💖

I read a book about behind-the-scenes Disney trivia before we left for California thinking it would be so interesting to the boys... (it wasn't 😜)—but this is the actual truck used in the movie, "Raiders of the Lost Ark"...

Downpour on the first day. Cam waited to wear his poncho until he was good and soaked...

Cam moons the camera 😳 (or the white top panel of his trunks looks that way... nah 😉)

The "Cars" set blew me away and was one of Cam's favorites

"Soarin' Around the World" was 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Toy Story Mania. Apparently Cam doesn't like his date much...

Clam chowder bread bowls at Pacific Wharf Café

We had so much fun playing the "Charades!Kids" app on my phone while we waited in longer lines.
Megan was sick the first day, so we headed back to the hotel for a break...
Thank goodness she rebounded for the second day!

"Guardians of the Galaxy" kicked my trash! And was Cam's favorite.

One thing I learned about our kids back home... they are not normal. We got to experience how the other half lives via the cousins. They got up at 8:00 a.m. on vacation, took it easy walking around the park to rides, shopped a little, took a nap in the afternoon both days after which Ryan asked to stay in the room instead of going back to Disneyland, they sat for the play "Frozen" (which btw was top notch), and went to bed early (Caleb almost fell asleep at dinner and begged to go to bed); whereas our kids would have balked at waking up before 10:00 a.m., and once dressed, would not have stopped sprinting from ride to ride to ride to ride, except to inhale a burger or an ice cream cone, until closing.

Thanks, Cam! I'll be your travel buddy any day!
