The Parents

I met up with my two best friends in high school, sisters Tanya and Tracey. Look at these two! They barely wear a spec of makeup, don't know what they would do with concealer, and look fabulous! They're 50 and 48!

This is what I look like with no makeup 😳

This is my new best friend filled with ice water to help defend myself against the month-long migraine siege I've been under. Apparently the meds that treat migraines also cause them. So, sleep and hydration are my best bets at this point.

I have new compassion for Mahdi's living with chronic pain. Here he is, aka the Easter Bunny, at lunch taking his meds πŸ°πŸ˜‚

Four deer on our porch

Rob took Cy to a couple March Madness games— Gonzaga (ranked #1) vs. Baylor and Kansas (ranked #1 in Cy's heart) vs. Auburn. Kansas got stomped 😜 Rob maintains hero status.

From January to May these two are consumed by volleyball (on top of basketball).

Cy is the setter for his team and
switches to outside hitter

And Rob is head coach this year

And I'm their biggest fan

Annual end of year volleyball barbeque and awards

πŸ‘‡ Rob's skyball serve. Guaranteed ace.

For coaches gifts, we all got Blender Bottles stuffed with chocolate and a Texas Roadhouse gift certificate πŸ‘ The boys got awards like, "The Fisherman" for the one who always went fishing but got nothin' but net πŸ˜‚, the "Professor" for the smarty pants, etc.

ANyway, that's what's up for now

Easter Sunday, 2019

I do the dirty work here in the storage/wrapping room

Late on the Saturday before Easter, I ran to Deseret Book after the gym to get the pictures of Christ and the temple I had forgotten to put in their baskets. I realized as I got out of the car that my wallet was at home. Hoping they took Apple Pay, I went in and asked a worker who said, "Well, sometimes our Apple Pay works." I decided to take my chances and went to the cashier who rang me up for $17.07. But my Apple Pay wouldn't work. We tried another register but with no luck. I asked how late they'd be open and resigned myself to rushing back later that night. Just then, a girl behind me said, "No, don't come back. I'll pay for it."
"Oh wow! But, no—it's $17. I can't let you do that. Oh! but do you have a Venmo account? I'll Venmo you!"
Problem solved. The sweetest girl!!

Prom 2019: Cy and Anne

How he asked her:

Would you "Dew" me the honor of escorting you to Prom?

And she answered with a scavenger hunt...

After some serious confusion πŸ˜‚, Cy headed for Taco Bell where he found a Macho Taco and another clue at Zumiez, then...

This was the state of his room at the time I got the text that the crew was heading over to decorate his bedroom...

I shoved stuff under a quilt and in a corner and called it good

Day Date: Pizza at our house, then Classic Skating, Leatherby's ice cream, and another food run to In-N-Out

Luke and Emma

Aaron and Macey

Kade and Abbi

Prom Night: Dinner at the Joseph Smith Memorial sky room and dance at the State Capitol, then hot tubbing at Luke's

Love this of Cy, haha

Kade's mom must've thought I was taking a pic of her πŸ˜‚... (and I did!)

Ethan and Maggie

Cy said it was "so much fun!" and Anne posted "Non-stop laughter with this kid. Hands down, best date ever!" πŸ‘
