Christmas Dinner at Granny's

Kids opened Granny's presents right away

Uncle Rob figured out Avery's fairy flyer.
Elle would've gotten one of those....

Granny looks like this at least once every get-together. What am I forgetting?

Benzo is the best entertainment

Then we had Christmas dinner, and afterward the adults attempted to do a gift exchange. "Attempted" because no one knows what the rules are, but everyone wants to change them. So like that.

To be honest, this Christmas was no party. Maybe a work party... in the sense that you work and don't party.

But it kept my mind off of missing Elle like crazy. And we're learning some of those life lessons with our teenagers that are dreaded but character building. This, too, shall pass....

Will be enjoying Christmas with all friends and cousins in somewhat similar way this year too. But select one of the pretty event locations instead of a house party. Heard about affordable rented venues from my colleagues. Managing dinner and guests will be quite easier. Also there will be no worry about servings and all.
