Spring Break, 2016

MONDAY: Road trip to St. George
Pickle Ball tournament that night

TUESDAY: Kanarraville Falls hike with Hackings

Bella Marie's Pizzeria, a favorite

Family scripture readings in the car to stay on track with Getty's Old Testament seminary schedule

We caught a movie ("Eddie the Eagle") and then headed for Nielsen's Frozen Custard

MK prays for us...

Nertz tournaments most nights. Cam
and Cy can play with us now :) :)

WEDNESDAY: Playing Speed while waiting for the pool to open.

Getty ripped his swimsuit in half playing pickle ball, so he's wearing Rob's suit, tied around his waist. This picture doesn't do justice.

Afterward, the girls headed to a salon. Manicures for M&M and a pedi for me.

That night, Rob grilled steak at the park for us, and the boys played frisbee.

Then we girls gave each other facials before bed

Every now and then if I'd had a chance to read my book, I would tell all our "non-readers" the story.

And they got hooked

That is one good book

THURSDAY:
Thursday morning we drove to the temple to do baptisms, but Getty couldn't go because he had forgotten a white shirt and tie. Then, when Rob and Cy checked in at the baptistry to gauge the wait, Rob was worried we wouldn't be back in time to meet the guy with the four-wheelers, so we turned around. I dropped them off and went back again that day, and then Getty borrowed a shirt from Jackson that night and they all headed back the next morning.
(This was taken the weekend before at the temple in Newport Beach. Cy and Rob were in Newport for a basketball tournament.)

Sand Dunes

We met up with Hackings

Getty wanted to check out the cliff situation nearby, stripped down to his underwear, and went for it...

MK wanted in on the action

Dinner with Clint and Cassie that night.
Why can't they live next door?!

FRIDAY
Temple in the morning, pack and clean,
then road trip home.

Meanwhile back in Salt Lake, a couple of Elle's biggest fans visited her spot at Hogle Zoo.
Love those girls (and their mom) so much for all they do to show they care.

Spring Break was such an awesome hiatus
from life as we know it.
