Unsolved Mystery

I found THIS...
DEAD...
Salamander???
Under my BED.
Questions anyone? I have no answers. And, yes, I've thoroughly interrogated Getty and Cy.
I actually picked this sucker up thinking it was one of the many small, plastic dinosaurs the kids play with in the tubby. I almost shoved it in my pocket without looking. It took about 5 whole seconds to register, at which time I shrieked, threw it, and ran out of the room.
Grody.
Of course we've saved it. Its new home is a ziplock bag on Getty's desk, where it can receive due appreciation from all five to ten-year-old visiting boys.
I managed to take photos of it without touching it once. Ewwww.

Oh man, that is so gross! I wonder how it died in such a pose, also?

GRODY TO THE MAX! That reminds me of the time I ran over the snake in the garage! I totally freaked!

That is so yuck!!! Jared laughed at "grody"...and again an "grody to the max".

One time, I saw a piece of rubber sticking out from my hub cap. It was about 6 inches long. I pulled it off and it felt squishy and it had two little white ends poking out of the side I pulled. Brent popped off the hub cap and we saw a dead....tail-less mouse. (shiver)

...I feel your pain.

I think that it's a sign. Someone is after you. Like the horses head found in the bed in The Godfather. Okay, so I haven't actually seen any of the Godfather movies, so I may be off, but I have heard that scene referenced many times.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Maybe it's just really late, but I can't stop laughing! That is so gross, but yet a little intriguing on how a salamander got in your house and under your bed. I bet Rob had something to do with it. ;) And I'm glad it didn't make it into your pocket!

That is so gross!! I found a tiny headless mouse under my stove the other day. Still am wondering what happened to its head. YUCK! It wasn't as cool as your salamander though so I didn't take pictures.

That is awesome. Disgustingly awesome. I am shaking my head and about to gag it's so awesome! We once found a GIGANTIC bull frog stretched out to full length (about 18 inches) dead and stiff in our window well. That freaked me out, but under your BED?! That is crazy. Thanks for making my day by posting it! :)

Um, I think I would have completely lost it. That is by far the most disgusting thing ever. Nightmares for sure.
