Jackson's farewell and more about the WADS

Evans and Wads
Jackson was called to serve in the Argentina, Neuquen mission, the same mission his dad, Clint, served in over 20 years ago. So cool.

We love this family. Clint and Cassie have been God's gift to Rob and I. They are amazing personally and as a couple. They've been our "safe place to fall," an incredible source of support, inspiration, understanding, perspective, uplift, fun, and comic relief for the 15-plus years we've been friends.

A few highlights...
Sand volleyball tournaments; barbeques; late night card games with our remote phones on to hear the little kids in bed; boating; family basketball; Lake Powell; pickle ball tournaments; biking down Snow canyon; phonecalls; parenting advice; parenting advice retractions๐Ÿ˜†; dinners out and in, family sleepovers, Clint's business trips, long texts; spiritual thoughts; our "Moon River" dinner laughing through tears as Clint bares his soul; talks til 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, and 4:30 a.m.; Clint's basketball team sleepovers; big waffle breakfasts; Star Wars premier night; swimming in their backyard; unloading/processing the crisis of the week with our teens; shopping; sleeping in their garage ๐Ÿ˜‚; and their emergency flight from Hawaii to be with us at Elle's funeral. I was stunned and so grateful; they never gave it a second thought, "Of course we would come!"

Jackson's farewell was the highlight of our weekend in St. George, but we managed to turn it into a mini vacation racing around Fiesta Fun, hiking Hell's hole, eating Bella Marie's pizza and vanilla sodas, and night swimming on Dixie's cliff

And in January the Wadsworths are moving back where they should be!—close to us ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ‰
