MK's friend Bree was marrying Darryl in his home town of Harrae in Zimbabwe and asked MK to be her maid of honor. MK's bank account was just waiting for an opportunity like this one, but she had no companion for the flights.
Meanwhile, Getty had just gotten out of a 5-month long residential rehab facility and was feeling like the summer (and life) had passed him by. And since he is basically bullet-proof, we sent him along.
