Inspiring Friends continued...

A friend brought awesome homemade FHE treats (brownies, cinnamon rolls, cookies) every Monday night for a month.

We got massive care packages of food and goodies galore, some especially for the kids and others for the whole family.
My sister lent me her cleaning ladies to clean my house and house sit during the funeral.

A friend emailed me ideas for the funeral and viewing and asked a friend of hers if she would put together a quilt of messages we all wrote on fabric pieces to Elle at the funeral luncheon. I love that idea. It's still in the making...

The driver and his wife gave us very generous Visa gift cards and a basket of their favorite junk food.

A neighbor has her eye on a tree she plans to plant in our yard in Elle's honor in the Spring.

People from our ward and our former ward brought in dinners for weeks. One neighbor, who is Jewish, even made three dinners on one night to hold us over for a few days.

The teenage boys that found Cy standing by himself at the scene of the accident have continued to befriend our kids. Trent comes over all the time to play basketball with the boys, jump on the tramp, watch their soccer games, do secret handshakes and air handshakes, and generally be awesome.

But wait—there's still more...
