It's been so awesome to see Cy in action as a missionary.
As we met with the Stake President for Cy to be set apart as a missionary, President Galloway described the kind of environment we would need to maintain in our home as Cy's Missionary Training Center. He talked about striving for zero contention, because contention is not compatible with the Spirit.
For verily, verily I say unto you, he that hath the spirit of contention is not of me, but is of the devil, who is the father of contention, and he stirreth up the hearts of men to contend with anger, one with another.
3 Nephi 11:29
I was amazed and wondered if zero contention was even possible for the 2 1/2 weeks our home would serve as the MTC, but I was intrigued and committed. With several reminders, we did a pretty good job 👍
