Surgery for Cy

Cy tore his meniscus playing basketball in the summer.

This was a pickup game with players from California

Checking in for surgery (September 7th) the day after he was scheduled to start Home-MTC.

Pre-op

Dr. Matthews explained the tear was much larger than he anticipated and was so glad we had it surgically repaired. If we hadn't, Cy most likely would have torn his meniscus completely through by the end of his mission (if not sooner) and would have a lifelong injury.

Post-op

Cy's priest quorum and the bishop came over for a visit that week
